After six very happy years, our beautiful gite complex in Normandy is reluctantly for sale. The property consists of the main house, three detached gites and a heated swimming pool. It is set in 1.5 acres of delightful garden with apple, pear and cherry trees. The property could be run as four gites if you wished to live elsewhere.

The well maintained main house has a spacious kitchen and a 30 sq metre living room with Norman fireplace and wood-burner as well as a sitting room/hall and downstairs cloakroom. It has three bedrooms (could be converted to four) and a bathroom.

Each of the three gites has its own unique style....

  • Stone House (gite 1) has a large combined room downstairs with Norman fireplace with wood-burner and three bedrooms + bathroom upstairs.
  • Colombage (gite 2) has a kitchen/diner and large living room with Norman fireplace + cloakroom. Upstairs, it has two big bedrooms and pleasant landing area + a bathroom.
  • Le Gite (gite 3) has a modern kitchen with dining space and a pleasant living room. It has two bedrooms and a bathroom.

The property is located near Brecey in Lower Normandy  in a very peaceful and tranquil setting. It has stunning views over the Normandy countryside and is just 1hr 30 mins from the ports of Cherbourg, Caen and St Malo,  1hr 15mins form Dinard airport (Ryanair) and  1hr 45 mins from Le Havre port.

The local countryside is lovely - like the best of England but with more space and fewer people! There are several excellent restaurants within ten minutes drive. The much-famed Mont St Michel is under an hour away. St Malo and lovely parts of Brittany are accessible in just over an hour. All villages have their own market days and super bakeries.
